A Step-by-Step Guide to Creating an SQLite Database in jQuery Mobile

SQLite is a popular choice as embedded database software for local storage in web browsers. In this tutorial, we will create a table in a local Android database (SQLite), retrieve the data, and show it in a listview using jQuery Mobile.

Firstly, we need to create a connection to the database. We can do this by executing SQL queries using the `Tx.executeSql()` method. In our example, we will create a table called 'SoccerPlayer' with three columns: ID, Name, and Club.

CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS SoccerPlayer (id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY AUTOINCREMENT, Name TEXT NOT NULL, Club TEXT NOT NULL)

```

Next, we can insert some records into the table using the `Tx.executeSql()` method. For example:
